History Of 5th W.O.T.H Scout Group.

Our scout group was founded on the 25th January 1989 with 2 leaders and 10 beavers as the 5th (Clubmoor Presbyterian) WOTH.

The group was then amalgamated with 13th WOTH on 3rd July 2001. Group membership was 9 leaders, 6 beavers (1 Jordan), 21 cubs (1 Foxy), 6 scouts, 4 ventures (predecessor of explorers).

13th WOTH was founded as 15th Anfield on 28th April 1949. They originally met at Pinehurst school , Pinehurst ave. There were 4 leaders, 30 wolf cubs, and 28 scouts. 

Due to reorganisation of scout districts and counties, the 15th WOTH on 23rd July 1979. By this time, the group had moved to St Columba's Anfield.

5th WOTH had moved to several different locations then finally moved back to ST Columba's Church Anfield for the latter of 12 years.

Akela (Vicky) invited 5th WOTH to The House Home Of Richmond Baptist Church so they could complete the My Faith badge.

After receiving a very warm welcome from the church they were offered the full use and facilities of Richmond Baptist at 27 Oakfield, this now being their home where we meet all sections on a Wednesday evening.
